Renewed serial number :FATAL ERROR unhandled violation access writing 0xf99.

As missinformed by a youtube video about how to re-add a new serial number, I deleted the following folder from the registry:

HKEY CURRENT USER / SOFTWARE / AUTOCAD

resulting in it saying at startup

license status 2.10.0

despite creating a backup registry and importing it succesfully back i still got: "license status 2.10.0" and not my previously expired licence number

after reinstalling new Autocad architecture version with renewed serial number for an educational version, i now get the fatal error mentioned in the title

I so wish i did my research and not fiddled unnecessaryly with the holy Registry

is there a way out to get things working again?????

Thank you

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Can you try the reset settings to default tool first?
