Problems obtaining license from NLM Autodesk Design Premium 2015

Hi, hopefullly someone can help me troubleshoot this!

We recently installed Autodesk Design Suite Premium 2015 on to a Windows 7 PC. Initially we did not realise that the license we'd bought was an NLM copy and ran into issues when inputting license into the installer. To get around this we installed as a trial which has now expired.

I set up the LMTOOLS software on the server yesterday and believe that this is all functioning correctly. I couldn't see a way to make the client look at the server so uninstalled and re-downloaded the design suite yesterday - this time I was able to plug in the NLM details okay. Left this downloading last night hoping to come in to working software....

This morning I am having trouble with obtaining the license from the NLM. A FlexNet License Finder window opens and asks me to specify the NLM system. When I tried this at first this morning I was coming up with this error.

Since then I've edited the hosts file so that the client resolves using ipv4, made sure that the firewall on the server has port 27000 open and entered system variables on the client for ASKFLEX_LICENSE and FLEXLM_TIMEOUT. Now when I put the details into the FlexNet License Finder window it seems to look for the license before displaying the window again in a loop.

Hopefully I've stated my issues clearly enough! Please let me know if more info needed etc.

Would I be best off just installing the NLM onto the client PC?

Please help!

did you configure your firewall for the following ports
TCP ports 2080 (for the adskflex vendor daemon)
TCP ports 27000 to 27009 (for the lmgrd master daemon)

Thank you so much. I think that it was the port for adskflex vendor daemon that was missing.

Thanks again.
