Hi all,
Yesterday I was experiencing severe problems with my Dynamo, so I removed Dynamo. It gave an error while removing Dynamo. After the second time removing it, it was removed. When I reinstalled Dynamo it started to give me errors on the Windows Installer. I've read somewhere that the issue was related to multiple versions of Dynamo on the system, so I removed all the Dynamo related software on my system. This gave no result either.
Figured it might help to do a clean install of Revit 2017 & 2018. So I removed those, cleaned up the registry, left over files, etc.
When trying to reinstall Revit I'm now greeted with the same error I get when trying to reinstall Dynamo.
The Windows Installer screen. I'm figuring the problem lies with Windows Installer, but I can't seem to find the problem itself.
I've tried unregistering and registering the MSIEXEC, but to no avail. I tried renaming the MSI.dll files as described on the Microsoft forum, but it won't rename. I've got admin rights, but it tells me I'm not authorized by a TrustedInstaller.
Right now I can't install Revit anymore or Dynamo. I can't find any solution that works.
