Pressure Sensitivity Stops In Sketchbook Pro 7 with Adobe CC Applications

First I aplogize for the Category I chose. Sketchbook Pro isn't listed and neither is any sort of generic "troubleshooting" category.

I recently purchased Sketchbook Pro 7 as a line work and conceptulation platform, since I liked the new perspective tool and the clean interface over Photoshop, which I use daily. I noticed when I installed Sketchbook that I had no pressure sensitivity on my Yiynova tablet at all, while Photoshop and Illustrator both functioned just fine. I rebooted my machine and only ran Sketchbook Pro and the pressure sensitivity works well. It is only when I load a Creative Cloud (namely Illustrator or Photoshop) application that the pressure sensitivity in Sketchbook ceases. I can actually start drawing lines in Sketchbook as Illustrator is loading and watch as my faint lines become hard black strokes as the pressure sensitivity fails.

I assume the Adobe applications are overriding or at least "stealing" the pressure sensitivity function in some part of their initialization process. I'm also aware that neither Autodesk or Adobe officially support Yiynova, or any non-Wacom tablet. I have read a few forum posts here regarding other non-Wacom tablets and the response tends to me "ask the manufacturer". I contacted Yiynova last night and they essentially told me what I already knew:

From Yiynova:

It looks like some conflict when you install Adobe and Sketchbookpro.

We do have few customers report issue for the conflict between different applications. They can’t open few application together.

I am not 100% sure SketchBookPro 7.x have conflict with Adobe but its version 6.x does work fine with Adobe. And the version before 6.0 also have issue with photoshop.

They responded quickly, but didn't offer an actual solution. For now I either need to work solely in Sketchbook until I know I'm done with the application and then switch to Illustrator/Photoshop, or just get used to the lack of pen pressure and deal with that until I can hunt down the exact cause of the conflict between the software.

Hello coreytn81 and welcome to the Autodesk community!

The automated response doesn't seem to offer the proper solution to my
specific issue unfortunately. There is a software conflict between
Sketchbook Pro 7, which works perfectly fine in a vacuum, and with Adobe
Photoshop and Illustrator. Once either of the two Adobe products
initializes I lose pressure sensitivity on my Yiynova tablet inside
Sketchbook Pro, while Photoshop and Illustrator perform as they should. I
assume when the Adobe applications initialize, there is some action
performed that disables whatever Sketchbook uses to track pressure
sensitivity. I don't believe this to be an improper installation of any of
these programs, which is what the automated response seems to suggest.

Additionally I bought Sketchbook Pro 7 because of the new features it
offers. Downloading a previous version of the software may solve the
pressure sensitivity issue, but it does not allow me to access the features
that interested me enough to buy the software to begin with.

I understand that there are three variables here, two of which have nothing
to do with Autodesk but I thought someone else may have had a similar issue
and found a solution. Currently, I have to run Sketchbook Pro 7 by itself
on a freshly booted session in order for it to function as it should. It's
exactly what I wanted and I love using it. However if I want to also run
Photoshop, or Illustrator, or if they have run at any time since my last
reboot, I lose pressure sensitivity in Sketchbook Pro 7.

I have tried to look in the task manager to see if there is any one process
running that would cause the conflict and I couldn't figure it out.

I am running Windows 10, 64 bit
Photoshop CC
Illustrator CC
Sketchbook Pro 7

Update, I guess for my own benefit for now; I tried to disable Wintab Services within the Windows Services menu and that also has no affect. I searched for anything "tablet" or "adobe" related and switched them all off and back on without regaining pressure sensitivity in Sketchbook Pro.

When I first started using Photoshop I was told to make the following file for Photoshop:

If the tablet uses a WinTab driver that does not have an option to use Windows Ink, or if you encounter other issues, you can force Photoshop to use WinTab by performing the following steps.
1. Create a text file in a text editor such as Notepad.
2. Type in the following lines:
    # Use WinTab
    UseSystemStylus 0
3. Save the file as a plain text file named PSUserConfig.txt in the Photoshop settings folder: [Installation Drive]:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 Settings\

To turn off the reversion to WinTab in Photoshop, do one of the following:
•Delete the PSUSerConfig.txt file.

or
•Change the lines so they read:
          # Use Win8 native tablet support
          UseSystemStylus 1

I deleted this file and opened Photoshop and completely lost pen pressure there as well. When I restored this file, I regained pressure in Photoshop. Is a config file like this that points to Wintab possible for Sketchbook Pro as well?

Still stuck on this. I don't know if its an incompatability with Windows 10, conflicting drivers, or just some part of the setup I did not do correctly.
