Not able to install Autodesk Design Review - Problem 1904

Hi,

I would like to have some help to solve a problem that I`m not being able to fix.

I`m trying to install Autodesk Design Review latest version available on autodesk website, but there is an error that is not letting that happen.

Down are posted the printscreens of the sequence windows that are appearing with the error mentioned.

I already tried some moves to solve it but I wasn`t successfull. I already cleaned all autodesk files from the computer to install ADR and I also cleaned all C++ files but no success.

I really would aprreciate some help.

Thank you in advance,

Diogo

I would uninstall Autodesk Design Review and use the Microsoft fix it tool and use the uninstalling option to clean any registry bugs. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/download-install/remove-products/using-microsoft-fix...

I would then check to make sure your Windows is up to date with any new updates.

Make sure to these folders are empty then try to install Design Review again.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\Autodesk Design Review
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\DWF Common

Thanks Norah

Hello @Anonymous,

Welcome to the community. Please translate your error message in the future.

If you are using a Download Now or Install Now you want to try a more effective method called Browser Download. I have listed some steps to prepare your system for download and installation in case you run into a problem.

  1. Check the Operating System needed & the required updates by reviewing the system requirements for the software

  2. Conduct a Clean Uninstall of the previous installation attempts & use the MSfixitTool to complete it
  3. Reboot the computer & log in as Administrator
  4. Clean out the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter (Windows)
  5. Temporarily disable security settings like Antivirus, Firewall & UAC on your Windows operating system
  6. Use the Browser Download Method in your Autodesk Account or via the AVA | Autodesk Virtual Agent (download all the parts)
