Not able to install AutoCAD LT 2016 - Allied prducts missing

Not applicable

Installed AutoCAD LT 2016 yesterday and the product would not activiate. Someone at Autodesk informed us to uninstall product and install and it should work this time. I uninstalled through control panel. First said product was already installed. I then used uninstall tool in Start menu. Now when installing it gets to 2 of 9 and gives the message "Allied product is not found." Select OK, then get "Installation complete. Some products failed to install" which is AutoCAD LT. I have attached screen shots.

Hello eleach and welcome to the Autodesk community!

It looks like you're seeing the "Some Products Failed to Install" error. This error can be caused if prerequisites have already been installed on the target machine. Incompatible versions, or even the same version, can cause this problem. The following article(s) should help you resolve the problem:

Error: "Install complete. Some Products Failed to Install"

After uninstalling the necessary files, please fully shut down your computer and reboot it for the changes to take effect.

Anyhow welcome to the community and hopefully my (or someone else) reply will be beneficially to you.

As a reminder, this is a world wide (public) user forum where users are assisting others. In addition do not post, attach screen shots, or share any personal information (such as your serial #) here.

You have Autodesk stuff still lingering around..   Please review this article and follow its steps.  If you have Windows 10 use the WIndows Cleanup utility instead of Microsoft Fixit.  Its link can be found in my signature.

Next review the verbiage below the line/above my signature and follow those steps to download and install your application.

I agree with @Mark.Lancaster the solution within the article should work... If not, post the installation log file from your C:\users\<username>\temp\ folder location.
