MSI installation every time

Dear readers,

Every time is try to startup Autocad 2013 VBA installer, an msi installation called "Autocad 2013 VBA installer" is starting and completing the installation process. The installation is checkling the license and then i have to agree with the terms and i can work.

After i close the program, the next time i start it its the same routine. I have all right on my Windows 7 machine.

Please help?

Thank you in advance!

With kind regards,

Rob

@Anonymous

Can you provide more information on this issue?

Are you trying to install VBA 2013 without success, or once it's installed and you try launching AutoCAD 2013, you're seeing the application check for a license?

Please provide screenshots.

If I understand that right, you've installed something (maybe AutoCAD, maybe the VBA enabler, maybe something else) *without* proper rights.  What's happening is the proper registry entries are not being made, or changes are being rolled back.

First order of business, uninstall that VBA enabler.  Make sure its fully uninstalled, and reboot for good measure.  Before you install, dial down UAC and disable any anti-virus.  Run AutoCAD at least once and ensure the per-user settings are in place.  Then install the VBA enabler.

Hi,

I would try to uninstall and then install the AutoCAD VBA enabler in question. Maybe you have to download the correct version from from Autodesk.

Thank you all for the solution. It worked! I installeed Autocad as a user with administrator rights instead of local administrator.

That was indeed the problem.

With kind regards

Rob
