hi, I've moved autocad from an old PC to a new one (both running windows 11 Pro)

I removed the licence and uninstalled it on the first one and then installed it on the second, although i keep getting activation errors on the new pc (line 10 char 6) does anyone have any idea what im doing wrong or what i could do to resolve this?

kind regards

craig

Login to your account at Autodesk.com and be sure you have assigned the license to yourself.

Not sure what that means, did just log-in with your account name/password as it prompts you when you start the new 2024 session? OR is this afterwards, like a webbrowser hiccup?

BTW, are you aware that every license user can run their software on up to three computers for the a few years now? most of us just install the software on the new computer, figure out activation and migration etc. and bug fix it as you are doing now, while our old machine stays up and running and something we can fall back on should the new PC hiccup for whatever reason.

What is the licensing error you're receiving?  Can you share a screenshot?

Also, make sure you have full access to the required Autodesk sites. If it's a new PC, maybe you got an Anti-Virus trial like MacFee and it's blocking access.
