Hi, Need some assistant in installing Service Pack updates in our windows lab environment.
We need to install the service packs on a regular basis as our lecturers keep requesting either the fixes or new features that are included within the packages.
Our first option is to get System Centre deploying our SP out to the machines, however we keep having problems. We tried 3dsMax Service Pack during the week via SCCM and worked great. We then moved onto Maya - this just fails with no error code, just does not install on the machine.
The command we are using within SCCM is: msexec /p Autodesk_Maya_2016_SP3_EN_JP_ZH_Win_64bit.msp /qn - is this correct?
The other option we don’t like to do is go round every machine and login and run the installer, however it sits at "Gathering information" for about 40mins... what is it doing at this stage... once passed this point it takes about 1min to install the service pack… is there any quicker way to get round this!
