Maya 2014 fails to install.

Hello. 

I need help. I am tryin g to install a student version of Maya 2014 . Everytthing goes well but in the end of the installation I got a message saying Maya can‘t install in my machine. I have an iMac running  OSX 10.8.5.

I would appreciate any help.

Hi Jose and welcome to the forum,

Can you post a screenshot of the exact text of the install error you are getting? Also, if you haven't yet you may want to use the version of the installer that includes service pack 4. This is available at the link below

I am posting a picture of the screenshot and I already tried the isntaller pack 4 that gives me the same errors.

That's strange, it says the installed failed but all the components have green checks showing they installed. Is Maya still in your application folder or did the install roll it back?

Maya is still in my Application folder.

Is Strange cause everything goes well until the "Fcheck". From this iten on it starts to fail .

I am enjoying the software and I want so much to keep learning it.

So what is happening when you try to launch Maya from the application folder? If you get an error can you post a screenshot of that?
