Material Library 2018 Failed Download Failed, Installation aborted, Result=1603

hello-

i am trying to install autocad LT 2018 and getting a material library failed error each time. is there a work around for this?

This issue is caused by the method you're using to download/install the application.

Solution:

Download the software using the Browser Download option:

I am having the same trouble with AutoCAD Electrical 2018.  There is no other option to download all the components first on the website.  I am downloading this via my university's T1 internet.  I have plenty of speed to keep up with the downloads while installing at the same time.

Update:  Man I must be blind today...  I was thinking @Darin.Green was showing the Virtual Agent Method...

2018 information is not on the virtual agent..

Although this image shows CFD and version 2017, the steps are the same.  Access you Autodesk Account, configure version, platform and language and then select View all to get the other options.  IF you do not see the view all option, select the language portion and pick the one that has all the options.   When using the browser download method make sure your browser doesn't have the pop-up block enabled or you may not get all the required parts.  Also take note of how many parts..

 

Download and install per:

1. Access the Autodesk Virtual Agent and follow the download links to your product.
2. Download all of the parts (some applications only have a single part to download) for your product first as indicated above. Do not continue until all of the parts have fully downloaded.
3. Navigate to your download folder location and extract (double click) part _001_00X.sfx.exe (or the single file download).
4. In a few seconds the extraction will start and prompt you to extract to C:\Autodesk.
5. Once the extraction is finished, the installation will automatically start.
6. Follow the installation steps for your product

However if the installation does fail using this method, please post your installation log file here so we can review it.  Posting info: Sometimes installation log files contain personal information such as your serial #.  Prior to posting your log file please make sure to remove such info.

Welcome. 

Did you have any luck finding it in your account. Conducting the steps below before the download & install helps. 

1. Log in as an Administrator 
2. Empty your TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter 
3. Temporarily disable your Antivirus software & Firewall
4. Temporarily disable UAC:  Windows 7 , Windows 10 
5. On the Autodesk Account select "Browser Download" (download all of the parts)

Continue if you are still missing the Material Libraries:

1. Reboot the computer 
2. Locate the Autodesk folder: C:\Autodesk\AutoCAD_2018_English...
3. Double click the Setup.exe and run the installer

but the download is get complete installation only when i have downloaded with Autodesk download manager.
