the idea is I will be doing some of the CAD work for an architect. He works out of his house and has been using 2011 LT and would be buying a second license for me to use. google shoping shows me 2014 LT for $795 and 2015 for $1,079. Anyone know of beter deals or good reasons to go for the newer version or not?
those are not legal copies
you need to buy from an Authorized dealers here: https://www.autodesk.com/partners/locate-a-reseller?us_oa=dotcom-us&us_si=0cbb0ca6-30da-48ee-aa78-6b...
or buy directly from Autodesk: https://www.autodesk.com/products/autocad-lt/overview?term=1-YEAR
hi @Anonymous
Kind of limited .. if you're busy I would get the annual .. if it's so so you could get a monthly subscription

Personally if you're not sure, I'd use the Autodesk Online Store

These aren't supported or available anymore. So they are likely a scam.
I would suggest that the architect that you will be doing work for purchase two seats of one of the more current variants of AutoCAD LT (2020, 2021, or 2022). The architect's version 2011 is getting a bit long in the tooth, and he would no longer be able to get an activation code from Autodesk the next time he goes to install it on a new Windows 10 system, (Autodesk ceased issuing activation codes for the older variants in August 2019).
The same pretty much goes for those versions that you found on Google. You would be out your money and would not be able to activate the software.
