Limit of computers in regards to Autocad subscription/license

"A subscription to AutoCAD can be installed on up to three devices, but only one user can sign in and use it at a time." 

What happens when you try to log in to the 4th computer ? Is there anyone  who has tried this ?

If for example I am logged in in 3 devices A B C and I decided to log out from C, can I log in into a new device D ?

You can only use it on one PC at a time. You can't use it on 3 PC's at the same time.

There's a topic* on this where Autodesk explains it will enforce license checking for more and more applications over time. So if you use more licenses than you have, you could get a mail warning you about overuse. Or the compliance desk could send you a (harsh) letter right away about license violations. As for installing on more than three devices, I guess the installer calls home with information about the pc it's installing on....

 

*I'm one of the 'lucky' to experience the new forum layout, where, among other things, all the pinned posts are gone.

If you are using more than one PC with the same license you'll experience the following:
