LicPath.lic location for windows 10

Hi,

I installed AutoCAD 2021, Architecture 2021, Revit 2021, and Inventor2021 for Windows 10 and Maya 2020 for MacOS using license manager, but I forgot to set the port for the license file and now it's conflicting with another application in our network.

After researching, I can update the license file on the license server with the free port that I can use, but I can't find the licpath.lic file on the end computer to update the path. This KB shows the location for version 2017 or highter, but it's incorrect. I don't see it in my machine, and I am running Windows 10 version 1909

"On Windows:

  • For Autodesk software version 2017 and higher, LICPATH.lic file can be found in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS\<Product Key>_<Product version>.0.0.F.  For example for AutoCAD 2019, the file location would be C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS\001K1_2019.0.0.F"

I have also looked into Program Files, Program Files (x86). I found the licpath.lic for AutoCAD 2021, but does this apply to other applications such as Architecture, Revit, and Inventor? Is there a licpath.lic file that points the license path for all Autodesk applications?

Thank you very much for your help, please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Nhan

Hi Darren,

I turned hidden folder off, I can see and access Program Data folder. In Program Data\Autodesk  I don’t see \CLM folder, and therefore, I don’t see LGS folder either.

Thank you,

Nhan

Hi Michael,

I am sorry, I don't think I ended up doing that, I believe I just made a new package with correct port listed when I was creating the installer. I think the KB I used before had incorrect info regarding the path to the license file. Take a look at this link, I believe these are the correct paths. I looked in the path for 2022 version ( that's what we are using now ), and the license file is there. I hope this helps. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Where-is...
