Licensing System Error 2

HI,

I am experiencing this "Licensing System Error 2" whenever I try to open Revit, I have tried to uninstall and reinstall Revit, but without any luck. I have also tried to follow the steps as explained in this link ( http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/installation-licensing/help-needed-licensing-system-error-2/td-p/65149... ). But as it is said in the tread, he was unable to solve the issue until Autodesk did remote control on his computer.

Please if anyone have any suggestions I would love to have them.

I am running OSX 10.11.6 with Parallels desktop 12 and Windows 10 Education. My Revit is a student version 2017.

Welcome to the community...

In the C:\Programdata\Autodesk\CLM\LGS folder what sub-folders do you see in there?

Hi Mark,

I only have on folder ( called 829I1_2017.0.0.F) and in that folder there is one file (called LGS.data). Does that make any sense?

Open the LGS.DATA file in notepad and what does it state:

_USER

_STANDALONE

_NETWORK

It should state _STANDALONE.

Also what version of Windows 10 do you have?  Revit 2017 only supports the WIn 10 Pro and Enterprise version..
