I have been installing and uninstalling programs for more than forty years now. Autodesk seem to be the most stubborn one. Some of us just have bad luck with Autodesk products. From experience, it seems that the more fortunate method of installing a new Autodesk product is to completely remove every Autodesk product and install them back, including the new one you wanted to install.
Few months back, I went through "hell" installing AutoCAD 2023. After many tries, I could not. In the process, two Autodesk technicians remotely logged into my computer, promising they will get it running, still they could not. I was finally able to be lucky with my home PC, then I transferred the app to my office PC.
No, I have tried installing Civil 3D 2023, first with error, then after some tries, it will install, open, then have license errors. From the Autodesk technician, I have uninstalled and re-installed Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service. Also, I removed and re-installed Autodesk Single Sign On Component "AdSSO" (2020-2023).
Has anyone ever gotten stuck in installing Civil 3d 2023, with respect to license issue? By the way, I currently have these on my PCs:
AutoCAD 2021
AutoCAD 2023
AutoCAD 2024
Revit 2021
Raster Design 2023
Cheers.
What exactly is your problem? Is it an installation problem or will it not license after installation and first launch?
You might try my license reset tool in my signature below if it is just a license issue.
Good Luck!

Right before I got your message, I just completely cleared all traces of Civil3D from my PC. In reinstalling it, I get the message the it is already installed; I used to get this message in the past with many AutoCAD apps. What would be the best solution to installed an Autodesk app if I get this type of message? I would like to reinstall Civil3D to be able to use your script for the licensing issues.
actually have a template for the time out error @omorah if you're still having that error
Have you seen the following article about this error:
On this article page, there is a troubleshooting form. Have you seen this
We also want to make sure all of the Autodesk updates showing in the Autodesk Desktop app are installed .. for both AutoCAD and Autodesk products (licensing)
Also:
As of late, if it was working and this is a new issue, I've been seeing Firewall / Access issues, please verify the following are done:
Which URLs/Protocols need to be white-listed for Autodesk Subscription Licenses
How to set up antivirus (AV) exclusions to improve the stability and performance of Autodesk software
Before I troubleshoot the license issue, I need to first find the right solution for my issue, in Message #6.
This has been headache for many Autodesk products in the past.
Please, please, please, and take on this my current post?
