Hi,
I'm having problem with exporting license AutoCAD 2012 from user pc.
I want to export the license from old pc to new pc.
But when i run LTU, it says Export Request Failed. the serial number is invalid (40)
I checked what error code 40 means. and it says the serial number may have been upgraded.
where can i get this upgraded serial number ?
kindly need your help

Hi,
I've checked all the checklist from link you sent before.
none of them solve my problem
for serial number and product code, i'm sure it is correct
I type it exactly the same as the one type in the back of the box
this is a standalone installation and the license is permanent
do you have any other suggestion ?

You need to log into your Autodesk Account and obtain that information. Do you know what your Autodesk Account credentials are?
To the right of your posting is a link called New: Get an Activation Code and in that link is a chat option. Please chat with Autodesk about this or call (866) 681-4359 and speak with the Autodesk Activation/Registration Team

Hello @Anonymous
I am sorry to hear you are having issues transferring your AutoCAD 2012 software.
The serial# may or may not change to be sure check with Autodesk Customer Service, as I do not have access to account information. The Product Keys do change from version to version. I have pasted and attached a link where you can find the appropriate product key.
Product Name | Product Key |
AutoCAD 2012 | 001D1 |
Product Key by Version
