This looks a little different from the license server issues seen today. If this is a key-based license, I had similar issues with users who were issued a key versus the ones who have a subscription.
The notes I took from Autodesk support were kind of off-hand, but see if this makes sense:
The work around I did is to downgrade the licensing service first so that the software will recognize serial numbers
then once it is activated
you update it back to the most recent version

Still, there is no word from Autodesk about it. But I have been hearing from many people having this issue over the past few hours. Have to wait to get until Autodesk resolves the issue.
