License Coverage for Previous Versions

Hello!

Was wondering if someone could tell me how far back a new network license can cover, as far as previous versions of AutoCAD?

A premium customer currently has licensing to cover his users running ACAD 2017 and 2018.  These subscriptions are about to run out later this month.  If he purchases new seats, and downloads his new license file, will these older versions be unusable?

Sorry for my first question to the group being so basic! 🙂

Thanks in advance for your help!

3-versions back: so today's year version is 2023: a new subscription will give you access to the 2022-2021-2020 versions.

Your 2017 and 2018 will never be covered with any new subscriptions: and no, you cannot purchase subscriptions for them either. I assume these are perpetual licenses now, they will remain so, you can use them for as long as your can barring any hiccups that stop that fact.
