Issue Installing Navisworks Manage 2019

Howdy.

Attempting to install Manage 2019 on a laptop running Windows 10 64-bit version 2020. I am not getting an error message the installation just rolls back. I have attached the install log in the hopes someone can decipher what the issue is.

Thanks for posting. 

 

The software needs Administrator rights during installation & at first launch after installation. Also set up the application to run as Administrator.

Your log shows the following warnings: 

MSI (s) (D0:E8) [18:52:28:204]: File will have security applied from OpCode.
MSI (s) (D0:E8) [18:52:28:213]: SOFTWARE RESTRICTION POLICY: Verifying package --> 'C:\setup.stv\NWMan2019\Img\x64\NAVMAN\roamer.msi' against software restriction policy

Please run through the steps below to help resolve this problem, if necessary reach out to your IT department regarding Windows permissions on your system. 

  1. Conduct a Clean Uninstall of the previous installation & use the MSfixitTool to complete it
  2. Reboot the computer, make sure apps are not auto running in the background 
  3. Log in as Administrator (check your permissions, full control) or create a new profile
  4. Make sure you have an uninterrupted high-speed connection to the internet & try adjusting your LAN  & proxy settings etc.
  5. Clean up the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the search bar by the Windows Start Menu and hit Enter, then delete unnecessary (Windows)
  6. Temporarily disable/disconnect security features such as Antivirus, Firewall, VPN & UAC on your Windows operating system.
  7. Use the Browser Download Method in your Autodesk Account to install the application again 
  8. Apply all necessary product updates from your Autodesk Account

Just found this in your installation log file:

 

MSI (s) (D0:E8) [18:52:58:570]: Product: Autodesk Navisworks Manage 2019 -- Error 1308. Source file not found: C:\setup.stv\NWMan2019\Img\x64\NAVMAN\Autodesk\Ldr\IVS\Tex\srf\Basket_1&.bmp.

Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

 

Can you please check if this source file exist ?
