Is there a way to export an older license to be activated later ?

Hello everyone !!
My client contacted me with a really interesting question, and I hope that someone here can help me with understanding his case.
He uses Inventor Proffesional 2018 with perpetual license and he does not want to switch for a subscription(for now ). As we all know, Autodesk is slowly stoping the activation of older products, and here is my question. Is there a possibility for him to somehow secure his license / current product, so he can use it / instalate / activate it in the future when Autodesk will not do that? For example create a backup file with all the files instaled ? Or is there a way to export this license to some kind of hard drive/pendrive ?

They can use AVA or the following AKN article might help:

You can also look for the License Transfer Utility. (mentioned in the AKN article)
