Inventor LT 2014 suite perpetual license

I have a question about perpetual licenses
I have Inventor LT 2014 suite and I would like to install this on a second home PC
Currently it is installed on my work PC
Can I activate this software on a second PC or do I have to use the license transfer utility each time I use the different PC so the software is activated
Never been able to get a clear answer on this

This solution means I have to transfer the license each time when I finish using my work pc then import the license to use my home pc

Can I just activate the product on both PC's

Standalone perpetual license allows the user to install on office and home machine as along as

1.  They're not being used at the same time..  Meaning you can't use it at the office, leave without closing the application and launch it at home.

2.  Although this is not an Autodesk requirement but I always point out you should confirm if your company allows this.  Many companies do not allow for this due to the risk it poses when you leave the company continue to use company asset without their knowledge.

3.  Activation is only permitted based on the history of this given serial #.  Just because its running on your office computer doesn't mean it can be activated at this point.  Its all about the history of this given serial #.

Also a question like this should be asked in the Installation and Licensing forum https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/installation-licensing/bd-p/24 since this is a licensing question and has nothing to do with Inventor itself.  I will have the moderator relocate your posting there to better suit your needs.

Thanks Mark

The office PC is my own with all my own registered software - I am a contractor and leave my PC (laptop at work)

So basically its down to the history of activations for the serial number

thanks
