Inventor 2017 cannot contact a licensing server

We have a user has AutoCAD 2017 and Inventor 2017 installed on his computer, AutoCAD 2017 works fine using the network licensing server, but Inventor 2017 couldn't run and received Network license Not available error, I have the FLEXLM_TIMEOUT setup to 10000000.

are you sure their are inventor licenses in your license file?

We have several users use this licensing server for inventor, all work fine.

Not sure if you're still having this issue... If so, perform the following task on the user's machine: 

• Open the registry editor and navigate to:
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FLEXlm License Manager
• Find the ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE key and change the value to the following:
  @servername;@serverip

The @ sign is required, just change the name & ip accordingly. We want to specify both the server name and the ip address of that server hosting your licenses.
