INSTALLING 3dsMax 2016: Not enough disk space

It says i havent got enough hard drive space when i have 80Gb free.

I've emptied all temp files etc.

I'm trying to install on the C: drive. It's an SSD...

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Does anyone kow how i can get around this?

I managed to successfully install.

I work at a UK university and there are many services running on my computer.

I had a similar problem with an adobe product; the solution was to try installing when the network cable was unplugged as this stops various services running on my computer.

This worked. I still do not know which services were interferring with the installation - sorry!
