Installed 2022 Vault Basic, but need Professional Client. Can't uninstall Basic

Hello, 

I installed Vault Basic on this client before our company decided to use Professional. We tried to install Pro, but we got an error. However, we seem to be unable to uninstall the Basic Client. Trying in the control panel, we get an error trying to uninstall. When you click "Yes" to remove it from the list, it doesn't even remove it from the list. How can we remove this program? There is also nothing in the Autodesk Uninstall Tool either.

Thanks for report it. seems the VB was not removed successfully. please try below steps to see if it could solve your issue

1. Find all the Vault Client 2022 folder in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Uninstallers, execute the AdskUninstallHelper.exe to uninstall them

2. Try to install Vault Professional 2022

3. If you still encounter this issue, execute below commands to clean the Vault 2022, then, try to install VP again

MsiExec.exe /X {266597A9-2764-0010-1033-DCBF2B69166B} 

MsiExec.exe /X {CF526A26-2764-0000-0000-02E95019B628}

Upon doing the last command in the cmd prompt, I am greeted with "Internal Error 2753." Interestingly enough, there's now a new error when trying to install the Pro Client as well. I can guarantee you this computer meets the minimum requirements.

Hi Daniel, thanks for try.  may I know if you are running it with an administrator account?  I believe your OS meets the requirement of installing Vault 2022. the error says there is still something of VB are not removed.  could you try check if you can download and use "Microsoft uninstall tool msicuu2" to clean it?

Or try to delete this register key directly if you can find them and install VP again.
