Hi I have tried downloading the autocad 2017 version through the web and then through the virtual agent autcad 2017 Lt, I keep getting the same report from my log, could someone help me please I have tried about ten times now but with no luck! The log reads:

Welcome to the community...
Although you were probably unaware of this, but when you post or share stuff here, please make sure it doesn't include your personal information such as your serial #. This is a world wide user forum and that type of info should not be included in your posting. Granted the installation log file helped us to determine your root cause (but it did contain your serial #)... So in the future remove or blur it out before posting. I will have the moderator remove it in order to protect your information.
Next uninstall all versions and instances of Microsoft C++ Redistributable (year and x86 and 64b versions). Next use the setup.exe that's located in your C:\Autodesk\<application name> location (meaning the location where you extracted the information from the Autodesk Virtual Agent). The installation will put the C++ stuff back on.

Hi Mark - thank you for the response. I tried looking for the serial # before I posted the log, but couldn't find it - what does it look like? I managed to download the lt version through the virtual agent route, but this only gave me a 30 day trial. I have reverted back to the website way of downloading it and have another log I wish to send - but will need to know how to delete / obscure the serial #
I have downloaded through the virtual agent again and have managed to successfully load autocad LT 2017 - it has only taken me 5 hours!

i have a problem with installation. while to the loading bar read "0 of 29 remaining" and up of window left read "autodesk desktop app" and right "connecting" , installation dont finish.

What are you even installing, Autodesk product (I would assume so but there's no indicated you are even doing that)? Version? Post your installation log file if you are still having an issue. If you do end up posting your installation log file, make sure to review it first to ensure there's no personal information such as your serial # in it. Personal information such as your serial # should never be shared here.
