Installation on multiple computers

I know that I can only install software on up to 3 computers.

But I have many computers, can I do these:

1. If I already installed one software on 3 computers, I want to install it on the 4th computer. What should I do? Do I uninstall the software from one of the 3 computers and install a copy on the 4th one? Do I need to first sign out from the one I am uninstalling from?

2. Can I install different software on more than 3 computers? What I mean is, for example, I install AutoCAD on computers A, B, and C. Then I install Inventor on computers A, B, and D.

1. Why do you need to install one software for one user on 4 or more computers?
2. That seems inline with Autodesk restrictions if your AutoCAD/Inventor is not a single bundle licence for one single user.

I need to use the software on more than 3 computers since I do have this many computers:

one desktop in my office

one desktop at home, but it is sometimes used as a TV

one Dell M6800 laptop at home, which I mainly use at home

one desktop at another home, but it is also used as a TV sometimes

one Lenovo X1Y laptop.

I use different computers at different times.

So it's best to have a copy of the program on each of my computers.

But, to obey the 3 computers restriction, I can manage to install it only on 3 of these computers.

The thing is, I already installed a copy on the X1Y laptop. The laptop is slow compared to the desktops.

So I would like to uninstall it and change it to a desktop.

I wonder what I should do to let Autodesk know that I have already uninstalled it from the laptop.

Various locations.... and if they start showing up with more than 1 logged in at a time will likely get you flagged and reviewed.

2 different laptops ... likely raises some flags too.

I know.

But I don't think it will be a problem for me.

Because I will be the only person using the program, and I won't be at two locations simultaneously.

While I am using one computer, I won't run the program on another computer.

And of course, I will only install the program on a maximum of 3 computers.

Hence the question of my post was how to delete the installation on one computer and transfer it to another one.

Just uninstall, then install and activate on the other computer.  Only activations are tracked, and that's a good thing.  I've dealt with a license system that required confirmation of uninstallation in order to transfer the license and it was a royal PITA when IT would re-image the computer before I had a chance to pull the license.
