Install AutoCAD LT 2014

Hi all,

I have a copy of AutoCAD LT 2014 on my old machine which I want to transfer to my new machine.

I can use the Licence Transfer Utility to transfer the licence (actually I can't because this is throwing an error).

My main problem is that I'm not sure if we still have the physical copy.  When downloading trials/student versions from the Autodesk website, the versions only go as far back as 2016.

How can I actually perform the install on to my new machine?  Should the 2014 LT seat become available within Autodesk Account Management once I have completed the licence transfer?

Thanks,

Wayne

What error are you seeing when you use the license transfer utility?   In addition if your LT 2014 is not showing up now if your current Autodesk Account that means it belongs to a different contract and contact information.  One final thing..  License transfer and activation is solely based on the history of your serial #.  If its no longer active by Autodesk information you will not be able to transfer it or activate it on the new machine.

Acad Lt 2014 is obsolete and no longer supported by Autodesk and may not running properly on Windows 10 (if that's the OS of your new machine).  If you don't have the physical media,  Autodesk only maintains the current released product year and 3 legacy versions.  Legacy versions that are older than this guideline are considered obsoleted and no longer supported by Autodesk and thus there's no "live" download for these releases.  Please see this article for additional information.
