Impossible to activate 3ds Max 2016

Hello, I have used approximately one hour for this, and my patience has run out.

I've been trying every possible troubleshooting thingy there is but I keep getting the Error (400) when trying to activate online. Earlier I got the same error when trying to use the activation code I already got via E-mail, but now using that gives me just another error.

Nothing helps. I have the activation code, I can't use it. And I really need this software to be working because I'm working on a game project with my fellow students.

What should I do? I just need to activate the product.. I have the code, so should I just give it to someone who can activate my license or what?

1.    Visit http://knowledge.autodesk.com/contactus
2.    Select “Activation & Registration” or “License Management”
3.    Select appropriate subtopics from the pull-down menus
4.    Select “I Still Need Help”  if you need personal assistance
