I can't install 3ds Max again...

Hi,

My big problem was that, after 3ds Max 2017 installation was complete, I couldn't launch it... The window appeared for 5 seconds then the program dissapeared completely...

So I followed the step by step guide to uninstall everything linked to Autodesk.

I downloaded the installation file again but it showed to me that 3ds Max 2017 was already in my programs... but it's not.

So I can't install it and I can"t delete it neither... I try a way to fix my problem for 5 days but I don't find anything 😞

What should I do? (And sorry for my English I'm Belgian ^^ )

In my signature below is a link to Microsoft Fixit.  Run it and then you should be able to uninstall the left over information.  With Fixit you need to run it for each application that needs to be uninstall.

Then download and install your application using the Autodesk Virtual Agent or

Download and install per:

1. Access the Autodesk Virtual Agent and follow the download links to your product.
2. Download all of the parts (some applications only have a single part to download) for your product first. Do not continue until all of the parts have fully downloaded.
3. Navigate to your download folder location and extract (double click) part _001_00X.sfx.exe (or the single file download).
4. In a few seconds the extraction will start and prompt you to extract to C:\Autodesk.
5. Once the extraction is finished, the installation will automatically start.
6. Follow the installation steps for your product

If you want the full recommended installation steps, click on the installation link in my signature.

However if the installation does fail using this method, please post your installation log file here so we can review it.  Posting info: Sometimes installation log files contain personal information such as your serial #.  Prior to posting your log file please make sure to remove such info.

Good luck on your installation and report back on your progress.

Sorry for bumping just and old thread like that, but this actually helped me on 3ds max 2017! For Win10, the troubleshoot function does help instead of FixIt!
