Hosted License Server

One of our customers would like to move to a hosted license server.  Some of the users take laptops home and need to access Revit while they are away from the office and off the company network.  The only forum thread I could find on the topic is a few years old.

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Why can't the users borrow the license before they leave.

no you still can't do this but you can host the software in a virtual environment as long as you follow this guideline: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/download-install/install-software/virtual-installati...

but again what @Mark.Lancaster asked why can't the users just borrow a license?
