Global MSI Properties

I need some clarification. I created an Autocad deployment image to push out through SCCM and what I did notice on the .ini file it creates at the network share, under Global MSI Properties it has the ADMIN_IMAGE_Location: \\server\autocad\2019\. Why does the .ini file have this location rather than the local directory in order to do the install? SCCM pushes all the contents of this network share to the distribution point and then the computers on site grabs those contents and downloads them locally then performs the install. Can anyone shine a light on this please.
