Fusion 360 EDU shows expired subscription, even after reverification

This is what my downloads page looks like:

Clicking "Get license" for just about any software takes me to a page where I can get a new license, but not Fusion 360. That just takes me to a page where I can download the lab installer - that's it. No other options are presented.

This is what I see in Fusion:

I've tried uninstalling my previous version and reinstalling from the lab installer, but not only did that not fix the issue, but the lab installer doesn't include the uninstall program, so I can't do a clean install again.

I've contacted support but got no reply. I can't be the only one experiencing this issue, right?

Hi @gormster,

If your account is an older Education account where you signed up for a 3-year term, then click Get Product under Fusion 360 on https://www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software/overview

This cropped for me last month and fixed the issue.

If your account is new then support is your only chance as it's then likely an account issue. It's worth noting that educational support doesn't work weekends so if you get no response in the next couple of days submit a new ticket.

Thanks @leowarren34, but as you can see from my screenshot, "Get Product" isn't an option I have. I think that would be under "Individual" not "Class/Lab" and for whatever reason Autodesk (or perhaps my institution) has decided I do not get to do individual licensing; you can see on the screenshot I posted above that the option to select Individual or Class/Lab is missing. The only option I have is "Get License" but it doesn't actually provision me with a license, it just takes me to the download page. All the other products take me to a page where I can provision a new license, but not Fusion.

Following the link for Maya:

Following the Get License link for MayaFollowing the Get License link for Maya

Following the link for Fusion:Following the Get License link for FusionFollowing the Get License link for Fusion

(I have, of course, followed the instructions on that page. They don't make any difference, I just end up with Fusion installed on my computer and still get the subscription expired notice when I log in.)

I suspect this is because Fusion licensing doesn't work the same way as Maya and AutoCAD. Because you're working online, you just sign in and that's it. But it doesn't show up under licenses in my profile, and of course there's no serial number or product key to register on registeronce.autodesk.com.

I've half a mind to blow away my account and just start over again, but with a cloud-based product like Fusion 360 that's going to mean losing quite a lot of work. Why is this so bloody difficult?

Ok, well… I've found the solution, and it is bizarre. And regrettably, it appears that it's not even repeatable? But hey, on the off chance this works for you:

As before, this is what I see when I load up https://www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software/overview

Screen Shot 2020-11-18 at 12.17.57 pm.png

But when I actually searched for Fusion in the search box provided - it worked. "Get license" became "Get product", it took me to a page that… probably redirected a bunch of times, but ended up on http://www.appstreaming.autodesk.com/install/app/73e72ada57b7480280f7a6f4a289729f/ - the downloader for Fusion via app streaming. And blammo - the license is applied, everything's good.

I just tried to do it again and it didn't work - the search simply shows "Get license" again, now. No idea what changed.

I promise, it worked the first timeI promise, it worked the first time

If you can get to the page that shows "Get product" - do us all a favour and paste the link in this thread? To save people like me who are unable to get to there for whatever reason.
