I just installed Revit 2019 on a new machine and when I start the program it gives me the attached series of errors:
It's really irritating to click through 10 errors every time I launch. Even if I click don't show me again, it still shows me the same errors next time I launch.
Anyone know how to fix this?
It looks something went not right with your Revit installation.
Did you have the BIM interoperability tools installed on your computer before?
Close Revit. Then go to windows settings, then to Apps. You should then have a list of programs installed on your computer.
Look in the list if you can find BIM Interoperability tools for Revit 2019 and uninstall it
If it is not there you can try a more manual approach:
Go to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2019
In the folder you will find several addin files. These little files thell Revit where it can find the necessary file for specific add-in.
Select
Move this files to a different location (for example the folder above, "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins")
In case of need you alwasy can put those files back
Restart Revit. Then the error messages should not popup.
