Hello,
The installation of AoutoCAD fails every time for the same reason, which is I apparently don't have permissions to access a dll file in a folder created during the installation and to write to it.
I have seen similar problems with other softwares here in the forums, I tried disabling UAC and others, plus I am the only user of my PC, and of course administrator, but still, nothing changes. I have installed other softwares in the past and the OS is W11.
Thanks for your help.
@gabriele_tam, Could you share a screenshot of the error..??
Also see if this helps..!!

Hello, thanks for your interest.
Both selecting install or downloading the installation files, I get the same error. The files are downloaded from here. The current version of files is taken from the italian website, but I tried the global version too and got the same error, I doubt the origin it has anything to do with it.
I tried the temp folder authorisations thing, but I already had administrative rights for it, so nothing changed. I'll try to uninstall the C++ versions and install just the latest, hoping this won't cause any problem with the other softwares.
I have tried cleaning everything (couldn't get rid of all the files in temp, I wasn't able to delete three), disabled UAC and real-time defender scan, but then I got the Licensing error (1603 if I remember correctly). Downloaded the Autodesk Licensing Service tool and installed, tried again, got the write to file error again, so I applied all the authorisation for the mentioned in the link folders, which BTW had all the authorisation for the administrator (me) already. I tried again, got another error, not the same number as before, but the link proposed to fix the error took me again to the licensing tool download, which is not working anymore as it has already been installed. So I am stuck, again.
What happens if you rename C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\Autodesk AcPerfMon.Bundle to something like C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\Autodesk AcPerfMon.Bundle.old and then try installing it again?
Try a new Downloaded browser install and a new or Temporary Windows Profile and see if you have an issue still.
Yes / No
Set up a new Windows Profile
and use this offline / browser installer:
P1
P2
Just doing a quick follow-up to see if you're all set .. or if you are still having the same issue

Hello, thanks for checking. The problem I detailed involve the PC I have in my hometown, but now I am back to in-office work somewhere else. I'll be able to try the method described not earlier than the end of the month. Sorry for that, and thanks again.
No worries. Keep us posted!
