Hi,
I'm trying to install Maya 2012 with a student license and keep getting an error message, at the end of installation, saying that my operating system is too current.
I'm using OSX 10.7 and the error specifies 10.4 or 10.5 (which made less sense after looking at the system requirements which says 10.6).
It looks like everything installs successfully except something called DirectConnect 6.0.
Error Message:
Installation failed on Exit
Your system is too new, you need a Mac OS X 10.4.x or 10.5.x system to install.

Installation failed on Exit
Then I click "continue" and it tells me again that installation failed, the software could not be installed.
I would just continue using the newer version of Maya, but unfortunately, I need this version for a class this semester. Am I just out of luck in regard to installing it on this Mac?
