Educational License not recognized by Revit 2020

I need help.  I have an educational license. I downloaded Revit and it was working fine. I began to get these "SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Sorry something went wrong on our end" pop up boxes. I closed and moved on. Then it stopped working and I got the "Licensing Manager not functioning properly" error and Revit doesn't open. I have contacted customer support and they told me to update my software via Autodesk app. Still not working. Then, I followed the uninstall/ reinstall steps. Didn't fix.  I followed the clean uninstall/reinstall steps. I ran the Microsoft trouble uninstall/install program. I downloaded the updates - including the license update. Still didn't work.

I even reset my laptop, reinstalled AutoCad and Revit. AutoCAD opened fine after entering my Autodesk user info.  Before I even opened Revit, I downloaded all the Revit updates from the Autodesk app (in order) - including the license update. I even checked the Console Certificates to make sure all the appropriate files were there.

When I open Revit I get a the same problem - a System Maintenance box. There are two options available to click on..."Help me understand..." and " Already Have a license?"

HELP ME UNDERSTAND - Basically tells me my trial version time is up.

ALREADY HAVE A LICENSE - Give me three options: Switch User - Enter a Serial Number - Use Network License.

[see attachment]

Through my educational account, I can find my AutoCAD serial number, but there is no Revit number listed.

I have reinstalled Revit THREE TIMES!

When I sign into Autodesk account online, My Products & Services shows a list of software available. Right at the top is the AutoCAD I just downloaded. There are a dozen more apps listed (ReCap, Fusion 360, Remake, etc) but no Revit.

Sincerely at my wits end!

I was approved for an educational license. Revit is on the "list" for educational licenses.

Hi @Anonymous,

Have you requested a Revit License from https://www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software/overview

Licenses are not granted automatically and must be requested yourself, you can check any licenses you have since they will appear at https://manage.autodesk.com/ under products and services.

If you still fail to get a license for Revit then reach out to Educational support: https://www.autodesk.com/education/support
