I am a teacher and we are 100% remote. In my district, we are 1-1 with iPad for all students.
In school, we have a the AUTODESK Suite. I am not looking to purchase another item.
Alternatives I have tried: Autodesk offers a web based version, unfortunately it does not seem to be supported by Safari or even Google Chrome (On the iPad) and gives me the statement "AutoCAD web isn't available on a mobile browser. Open the web app from a computer, or try our mobile app". (Pictures attached)
All of my students do not have computers at home. My students have been using the AutoCad App but it only allows them access for free for 7 days.
Biggest question: Can I get educational access to the mobile app that will give the students extended time to work with the problem until July?
Another question: Is there another work around to make the mobile Web based application work?
Hi pendean,
I have the app dowloaded on the iPad but it only giving me 7 days to use it, even though I am verified for educational access. (I had a picture of that as well but I can only upload 3)
I was on a chat with EDU licensing people this morning and they only help that they could offer was for "installing the program". (I have the chat saved) The person I was chatting with kept telling me to download the program, but you can not do that on an iPad.
They could not tell me why I did not have educational access to the app. A colleague of mine has had the program for a year on his iPad and has full access to the app, he just renewed his 1 year subscription today.
I did ask the person I was chatting with if there was anyone else that could help with my situation and they said that they only deal with installations. I created the account and only have one account with AutoDesk.
