driver for Nvidia gtx 1070-1080 with 3DS max?

Hi,

I'll get a 1070 or 1080 gtx card for 3DS Max and Vray. I do not want to buy a quadro, too expensive. I use Max to make simple scene with ArchiCAD models and business models for architecture.

These cards are recent. Which driver should I install?

Are there problems between 3DS and these cards? Some problems are subject of topics, such as this topic

Should we expect Autodesk publishes the right driver?

I would recommend GTX 1080 as it's a gaming card and much better for MAX then Quadro cards. Once purchased and installed, install the latest driver from the vendor site instead of the Autodesk Graphics Hardware site

In the the Autodesk Graphics Hardware site, the driver for gaming cards (GTX 980, Titan...) is a Quadro driver (Quadro Desktop/Quadro Notebook 347.52 64bit [9.18.13.4752]). That means that I have to use a Quadro card driver for the GTX 1070-1080 from the Invidia site ? and not the GeForce driver 372.54 ?

Install the GeForce driver, not the one from the Autodesk site. Autodesk drivers are those that were tested, but that doesn't mean anything.
