DirectX runtime failure on autoCAD2014

Hi,

I am trying to install AutoCAD 2014. While installing AutoCAD 2014 we are getting a "Parity security notification: Not whitelisted - unapproved executables" at the point where DirectX is installing. I checked with the concerned bit9 team and they are telling as follows:

"The DirectX executable in the package is a web installer, as mentioned in the error. Web Installers do not contain any of the files needed for the install, but only pointers to download more files from the web.Web Installers can get blocked, because the files that are being executed are not known, and they are not whitelisted ahead of time."

So they are recommanding us to install DirectX standalone installer, so that they can whitelist it. I need to know which version of directX standalone installer I need to install and from where I could get it?

Did you forget to turn off all your security and anti-virus software before installing AutoCAD? These are blocking the installation, you may have to do what your security protocls require, ask your I.T. department or Security vendor for help.
