Hi,
We are experiencing weird issues with DWG Trueview 2026 in SCCM and manual admin installs.
I installed DWG Trueview 2026 (English) manually with admin rights but removed the application with SCCM when the package was ready. Upon removal everything seemed ok until we ran the package again from SCCM to install it.
When you open the application the 2nd time you get a notification that the app cant find the following files... see screenshot.
The files exist in the system profile location... C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\DWG TrueView 2026 - English\R24\enu\Support however we can't copy these files each time to the user profile.
It seems to be more of an issue with how DWG Trueview 2026 has been compiled to install in the first place.
We have raised a ticket with Autodesk support but so far no reply...
Anyone have any tips how this can be resolved?
What happens if you delete / rename the folder C:\Windows\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\DWG TrueView 2026 - English
TrueView should recreate / populate the folder.
The folder for the user profile isn't created until the application is first opened. If we delete the folder or uninstall the application via SCCM, after a new install, when we open the application its appears to not put all the files that back.
Attached are the files that should be in that folder.
We have raised this with Autodesk but the developers said they couldn't reproduce the issue despite us speaking to the support team who did exactly as we did and were able to reproduce the issue from SCCM.
We believe the issue has to be how the application was compiled.
To my understanding, the files getting copied when a user runs AutoCAD / TrueView the first time are pulled from the hidden folder C:\Program Files\Autodesk\<program name>\UserDataCache. Are the files there?
