Default Template files missing

I have successfully downloaded, installed and activated Autodesk Revit MEP 2012 (student version).

Everytime I open the software, I get a message that the Default Template file(s) don't exist. I have done a file search and I get no results.

I am hoping to find a download patch which includes "default.rte" and "Systems-Default.rte" default template files.

If the files are completely missing on the machine,  then it could not have installed during the installation process. I would recommend reinstalling content through the following step:

1.  Open Windows Control Panel -> Program and feature-> highlight Autodesk Revit Architecture 2012 -> Click Uninstall / Change.

2.  Choose Add or Remove Features.

3.  Select the content you wish to install -> Next.

4.  Revit 2012 will now update and download the contents.

thank you
