DACH Country Kit for Autodesk Civil 3d 2024

Good day everyone,

Has anyone had experience installing the "DACH Country Kit for Autodesk Civil 3D 2024" for two users on one PC system? For example, if two users share a system with their own usernames.

I've noticed that it doesn't start correctly under these conditions. When I perform the installation for USER1 (with admin rights) and start the program, it works.

However, when USER2 then starts the shortcut, a "second" installer runs, but the interfaces and entries are missing, and only Civil 3D German Metric launches without loading the content of the DACH Country Kit for Autodesk Civil 3D 2024.

Has anyone managed to get this to work properly so that the Country Kit is functional for multiple users?

I tried this. C3D 2024 installed, then the CountryKit 2024 DACH.
And as you described, everything runs under the user with whom you have installed.

Then I created a new user and tried to start the "CountryKit in German". That didn't work.

I noticed that the "2nd stage installer" of the "Country Kit" was started, but not the one of C3D 2024. And it should actually run first.

So I did another "C3D reset" of the user. Then "Civil 3D 2024 - German Metrisch (German Metric)" started. And now, as it should be, the "2nd stage installer" from C3D is running.

Then I could start the "Country kit" without any problems (2nd stage installer of the Country kit runs there as well).

Workaround is therefore for a new user, C3D 2024 must first be started with a standard profile so that the C3D user environment is set up for the user via the "2nd stage installer". Only then can you start C3D 2024 with Country kit.

If you have already run into the error with a user, you should delete the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R24.3 in the registry so that the "2nd stage installer" runs again.

Only if no other AutoCAD vertical for 2024 are installed. if other AutoCAD 2024 verticals are installed, you have to delete more specific registry keys, then let me know.

To solve the problem in general, you would have to adapt the MSI file "Autodesk Civil 3D 2024 DACH Country Kit" (DACH_Content_C3D_2024.msi) by means of a transformation, so that the order of the "2nd stage installer" is correct
