Covert language for Autocad 2008

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..
As far as I know the Japanese version of Acad LT was its own entity/purchase and swapping language is not possible. Which means you have to subscribe to a new version in order to get the English version.
However I will tag @john.vellek and @natasha.l for their input.

Welcome.
You would need to uninstall the Japanese version & install the English version of AutoCAD 2008, but Autodesk no longer stores download for older legacy products such as this one.
Only AutoCAD 2013 and later support language packs, so there are no language packs for 2012 & older versions.
