I run several computer labs at Diablo Valley College for the Art department where we use Maya and Mudbox. I thought we had a perpetual license but it will now expire in 4 days. (We've had minimal warning on this.) I have gone thru the education site and downloaded both Maya and Mudbox and the Maya install says the serial number is invalid when I try to activate it. This is the serial number that Autodesk generated for me. Very odd and very frustrating because in 4 days our Art classes will be without the software the classes are centered around. Any ideas on a fix....
Thanks,
Doug Michael

Hello @domichael,
Thanks for posting.
You can't re-activate a previously used version when the 3-year term expires you must sign into the Education Community account & download another version listed in the Education Community.
For more information please review: Renew Autodesk educational licenses

Hello,
Yes - that's how it should work but for whatever reason I don't get the download for Mudbox. I did get the one for Maya.... I chatted with someone from autodesk and they said I need to create a new account... which to me is ridiculous since I already have an edu account. When I asked him/her if that would then de-activate my version of Maya he said have a nice day and ended the chat..... this system of minimal customer service that autodesk uses is horrific. It would be great to get the mudbox download from my existing account...
Thanks,
Doug Michael
Did you actually go back and request it? Is the school using standalone or network based license?
