Cant Access Account

I purchased a month subscription to AutoCAD and I can't find anywhere/anything to download the product. It doesn't appear on my product list on my Autodesk account, but I have the receipt. It says something about the order needs to be processed.

So i just wait for them to be ready to give me the download and after that it should appear in my product list?

I wish they gave information on what to do next or what happens next, very confusing and not intuitive at all, especially for a company that works in design/user interaction XP smh

Hello dal9946 and welcome to the Autodesk community!

It looks like you need to find out more about downloading or re-downloading software, or are having issues that may be resolved by re-downloading.

For Windows users, before downloading products on Windows 10, please check that the product is compatible.

Its just not giving me a link to download, or a serial number to insert anywhere. In other words, I bought the subscription and have a receipt, but there is nowhere to click to download. In Products and services, "AutoCAD 2017" is not showing up. I can't find another way or another place to download because Autodesk isn't giving me anywhere to do it in the first place.

Hello @Anonymous,

Welcome to the forum, I am glad you posted.

You can also install your software via the Autodesk Virtual Agent.

Once you download your Autodesk software from Autodesk Virtual Agent, please proceed with the product installation as follows:

  • Logon as an Administrator.
  • Empty your TEMP folder.  To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Explorer and hit Enter.
  • Disable your Antivirus software.
  • Disable UAC.

  • Download all of the parts
  • Locate the download folder and extract (double click) part _001_00X.sfx.exe. If you have a permission issue right click and select, Run as administrator.
  • Files will be directed to C:\Autodesk
  • Follow the prompts to install the program

I hope this answered your question or resolved the issue, if so please click Kudos or the "thumbs-up!" Did my response help resolve the issue? Please "Accept As Solution" to help others in the community.
