Material Library is all greyed out and does not work. I believe its because my Revit 2020 rendering features are disabled.
I have done some research and one solution says to uninstall and reinstall rendering libraries. I uninstalled however, there is no installer in my Autodesk folder on my workstation, Lenovo P52.
Another solution says to perform an Autodesk Clean Uninstall of Revit 2020 but its confusing as I don't see any Revit 2020 in the uninstall tool.
A third solution says the disabled rendering is a result of no ownership of the files when downloading which kind of makes sense. At the end of Revit 2020 download a screen pops up asking me to login into Autodesk A360 to download rendering libraries which I struggled with due to needing a security code so, I left it for another time.
Apparently, the rendering libraries are downloaded and all I need to do is go into the Materials Folder security tab / advanced and edit ownership. Unfortunately, it did not work.
Therefore I visited my control panel / programs and uninstalled all Revit files to start over. I even spoke with Microsoft to learn how to permanently turn off Windows Defender. ( I didn't want to risk it turning back on to look for Windows updates ) I then tried to download Revit 2020 from my Autodesk account... 46 minutes later the message says : "Some products failed to install. ( all of them ). There was a problem downloading the software. Try downloading from a browser." Really ??
