Cannot Download 2022 LT

I am attempting to install Autocad lt 2022 on my computer but I get message saying computer does not meet system requirements.  I have installed Autocad 2018, Autocad 2020 and Autocad LT 2021.  Any thoughts on why I cannot install 2022 LT?  I have more than enough free disc space and none of the hardware has been changed

Hi,

compare your specs with the 2022 system requirements first.

If LT2021 runs, one possible problem is your OS

you selected the incorrect OS version to download most likely (you are in Windows downloading the Mac version, or on a Mac and downloading the Windows version).

OR... you are on a very old MacOS or Windows7 that are not listed as supported in the system requirements for AutoCAD/LT2022.

Which is it? I can't tell from your light post (pun intended LOL).

Thanks for your response.  I am running Windows 8.1 and I did attempt to install the Windows version (I double checked after the first attempt failed).  The system requirements do not exceed my computer's capabilities.  It appears we have an enigma from the 5th dimension

Well, there's the problem, straight from the OS section Sys Requirements: '64-bit Microsoft® and Windows 10. See Autodesk's Product Support Lifecycle for support information.'
