A while ago i was looking into getting software for school, as a student i was able to get 3DS Max to use for my work, i was also trying to get Maya as well. i was told that using the software for school purposes would not cost me anything. However a Transaction for the Maya software went thorugh my account which i was unaware of, and which was not supposed to be charged to me. i searched on the support topics, and the pages loop back to the original page which does not help whatsoever. i cannot have this be taken out of my account automatically without me knowing ahead of time. i need this subscription canceled, and a refund for the software that i was not supposed to pay for.
Hi @Anonymous,
Welcome to the community!
Sorry to hear about the issue. I have submitted a refund and canceled the auto-renewal of your subscription. Your refund number is 655409901. Please note that you will receive an email asking you to accept the refund terms. Once you agree, the amount of the purchase will be refunded to your credit card. This can take a few days to hit.
If you wish to receive software for your school, you need to set up an educational account and download from the education community.
Go back to where you got the software. If it was the reseller they would be involved. If it was online or the Autodesk store call them.
Public forum won't get you a refund ..
For?
