Can't install Revit 15'

I've been trying to download Revit 15' for a few days now. First, I was getting A "License unavailable at this time (something like that,) try 30 day trial and try again later." So now i'm trying to download Revit 15's 30 day trial (I am a student and ultimately want the 3-year subscription!) and it doesn't do anything. I get passed the "try 30 day trial" checkbox and always get stuck at the installation progress page- It always gets stuck at 7/10 "Overall progress."

Is there anyone that knows what it could be? this computer is more than capable of running all AutoDesk programs

(Currently AutoCAD 30 day trial is installed and working!)

Thanks for the potential help

Hello FEimiller and welcome to the Autodesk community!

It looks like you are stuck at the installation step while attempting to download software. The following article(s) should help you resolve the problem:

I checked out both of the provided links, both of which were not helpful.

I don't get any pop-ups or error messages, it just gets stuck on the installation progress page and doesn't do anything.

I've spent a collectively 10 hours probably in the last two days stuck on the same page. I've disabled my antiviruses/firewalls as well.

Hi @Anonymous

Sorry that you're unable to install Revit 2015! Could you please try the download from our Virtual Agent (click on Download Links, choose product and version). Then go to Education Community and sign in your Autodesk account. Select the version, language and operating system, and you will be prompted with your student serial number for this product. If you are able to download the product, then activate the license using your serial number and product key.

Hope this helps.

We're sorry we cannot provide you with your license details at this time.
Possible solutions
  1. Wait a few minutes and try again.
  2. Use the Download button to download and install your software, and use it in "trial mode" for up to 30 days. Return to this page before the trial period ends to obtain your serial number by re-selecting your product's version, language, and operating system.

is what comes up when i select the version of Revit i want (under student and educators)

@Anonymous Thank you for the error message description, that's very helpful 🙂

The easiest way around this issue is to register a new Education Community account with a different email address and obtain a new serial number.

There is no need to fully download the program again, simply go as far as obtaining the serial number.

Please accept as solution if my post fully resolves your issue, or reply with additional details if the problem persists.

Sounds good. I will try this later on today when i'm home from work.. but i need to ask;

That's my only student email and isn't a student email required to prove i'm in fact a student?

thanks
